This is Amelia, who attends Brian House once a week to give her family a bit of respite. It’s really hard looking after a child with such complex health needs: a 24 hour a day job!

Brian House looks after around 80 local children at any one time, providing regular respite and specialist palliative in a home from home environment. But keeping Brian House open costs £1.2 million a year, and we receive less than £200,000 annually from the government, and nothing from the local CCGs.
