Our Mission
“Enabling Compassionate Care on the Journey to End of Life”
Our Vision
We are in a perfect storm of financial pressures, including real-term reductions in statutory funding, inflationary cost increases, and rising demand for our services.
Our vision, therefore, is about resilience and responsibility. It is about finding new ways to meet growing demand within constrained resources, while continuing to advocate for fair and sustainable statutory funding. It is a plan that reflects the reality of today—but remains firmly rooted in the vision of a better tomorrow for everyone who needs our care.
Our Vision is more important than ever:
Everyone on the Fylde Coast has access to ‘timely’ and ‘consistent’ integrated palliative and end-of-life care and a good death.

Our Values
Everyone at the hospice supports a set of five values, which underpin not just what we do, but how we do it!
In every part of the hospice our Values speak volumes about the services we provide to local families and about our relationships with supporters, suppliers, members of the public – and each other.
It means we are always:
Caring
Adaptable
Responsible
Excellent
Socially engaged
We put people first…
The hospice was assessed by Investors in People and awarded the coveted Gold standard – joining the top 13% of accredited organisations across the UK who work hard to realise the potential of their people.
Our Strategy and Business Plan
Across all of our work here at Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice, our strategy is to remain the pre-eminent palliative care provider on the Fylde coast...
acting as the area's palliative care hub...
enabling truly integrated flexible services which are recognised as second-to-none.
Our Quality Accounts
Our Quality Accounts look back on how well we have done in the past year in achieving our goals and look forward to the year ahead, defining what our priorities for quality improvements will be and how we expect to achieve and monitor them. Read our Quality Accounts here.
Our Patient Safety Incident Response Plan (PSIRF)
We’ve published our PSIRF Policy alongside the existing PSIRF Plan to show how we manage patient safety incidents, including near misses.
The PSIRF Plan outlines our overall approach and priorities.
The PSIRF Policy details how we report, investigate, and learn from incidents.
Publishing both documents supports transparency and helps everyone understand how we improve safety and care.
