Day and overnight respite care
Referrals to Brian House are generally from a child’s health care team – perhaps their consultant or GP – and, for very young babies, the midwifery unit. If you are unsure give us a call on 01253 952589.
Each family circumstance is different, but some parents choose to use Brian House for their child’s final days and hours. Sometimes though, a move from a hospital/home to the hospice may not be possible. We will do everything we can to support you and your child’s care team and you can call us on 01253 952589.
Use of the Butterfly Bereavement Suite
We work closely with local hospitals, so if we don’t know you already, ask them to contact us on your behalf. Or you can call us direct on 01253 952589.
Pre- and post-bereavement counselling
Our Linden Centre provides counselling for children and adults, helping them come to terms with a death. Ask our team at Brian House, or you can refer yourself by emailing linden.centre@trinityhospice.co.uk or call 01253 952582.
Our memory tree
Families who have used Brian House and whose child has died can take a leaf on our beautiful memory tree. There’s no charge, and it’s a lovely way to keep their name close to us.
