Brian House Stories

    STORY

    Janet’s Story

I’ll never forget first walking through the doors of Brian House as a mum in need of help. Now I’m here to offer nursing support to other families, doing a job I love, and it’s nice to think that in so many ways it was Adam who inspired it all.
    STORY

    Isabelle’s Story

When I met her face to face I saw a twinkle in her eye that told me one day she would become my hero.
    STORY

    Ellis and his family

I think it’s only when you’ve been through such challenges yourself that you can truly understand how others are feeling – and it’s wonderful to have friends at Brian House that we can share our experiences with.
    STORY

    Elena’s Story

Elena was named Child of Courage at the Radio Wave Local Heroes awards, after being nominated by the Brian House staff.
    STORY

    Chris’s Story

We couldn’t have done what we’ve done without the support of Brian House
    STORY

    Claire & Nathan’s Story

Eight years on, Nathan still loves going and we are very grateful for the time it gives us too!
    STORY

    Catherine & Jack’s Story

Without Brian House there is no way we could function as a family.
    STORY

    Charlie’s Story

We had the wrong assumption that children just went to Brian House for end of life care. How wrong we were!
