Brian House to benefit from X Factor winner’s single

26th November 2013

No matter who wins this year’s X Factor, Brian House is in line for a big prize too.

This year’s X Factor winner’s single will be in aid of Together for Short Lives and Great Ormond Street Hospital – which means that Brian House Children’s Hospice will qualify for a share of the cash.

The two X Factor finalists will perform their songs live during the series final at Wembley Arena, with the song available to download once the winner is crowned on 15 December.

Syco will donate all the profits from the sales of each CD single and download to the two charities, which means Brian House will receive a share of the proceeds donated to Together for Short Lives. In a similar arrangement last year, Brian House got a fantastic £13,000!

Linzi Young, Fundraising Manager for Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice said: “We are so pleased the X Factor winner’s single is going to help us, and the popularity of the X Factor helps raise awareness of the needs of children and families we support.

“We will all be watching the final to see who wins and want to say a great big thank you to Simon Cowell!”x factor
